Decorators Steven Stewart of Jacobs Colours in Kilsyth and Richard Stokes of RCS Decorating in Salisbury are both looking forward to luxury holidays this summer courtesy of Crown Trade. Their names were drawn at random from thousands of entries in Crown Trade’s national “Bring Walls to Life” promotion which ran last year to celebrate the Crown brand appearing on a high profile advertising campaign on TV.
New York skylines featured in the eye-catching “It’s Personal” TV ad, designed to promote Crown’s extensive colour palette available and to inspire customers to use paint to make a statement all around their homes. The national in-store promotion which followed continued this theme and offered decorators the chance to win a luxury holiday for two in New York when they stocked up on Crown Trade products at their local specialist decorating outlets.
Richard Stokes filled in his winning entry form at the Salisbury branch of Brewers, where he has been a customer as long as he can remember. He was presented with his holiday voucher in the store by Crown Paints merchant sales manager Clive Cooper and branch manager Vickie Hicks.
“I’m 50 this year so this couldn’t have come at a better time” said Richard. “I was planning on doing something special to celebrate and now thanks to Crown, it’s all been taken care of. It’s absolutely fantastic. We can’t wait to get on that plane!”
The second winning entry form was filled in at the Crown Decorating Centre in Kilsyth where Steven Stewart has been buying his Crown Trade paint and other decorating supplies for the past six years. He is looking forward to whisking his wife away for a luxury holiday this summer after being presented with his holiday voucher by Tom Stevenson, Crown Paints Regional Operations Manager and the store manager Linda Abercrombie.
