Cissing

Sepreration of paint film whilst wet - small "craters" in paint film, caused by surface contamination, wax or grease.  Sometimes occurs when applying water-based paint over poorly prepared surfaces.

Solution

Remove as much paint as possible, degrease, rub down and re-coat.  Ensure application tool is also free from contamination.  When using water-based gloss paints, ensure surface is abraded between coats.
