Crown Trade Timonox has a long, well established history of providing a first line defence against the spread of flame, and so offers a comprehensive solution to the perceived 'Duty of Care' for building owners, facility managers or employers to protect the occupants of their properties.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (England & Wales) & the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 underline the potential hazard of flame spread on painted surfaces as being a factor to be considered in a fire risk assessment, to which the use of Timonox offers a cost effective solution.
Crown Trade Timonox systems are subject to rigorous ongoing British and European fire testing. The products are either water-based or solvent free, antimony free and are 2010 VOC compliant. Crown Paints regularly monitor its products and manufacturing procedures to ensure that it offers products with the lowest possible environmental impact. All Crown Trade Timonox systems have been independently fire tested at Bodycote Warrington (Formerly 'Warrington Fire Research Centre').
