A:

You will need to wash down with Sugarsoap and abrade the surface to provide a good surface for the paint to adhere to.

 

Followed by a coat of Crown Trade PSB Stainblock Primer and then the Colorfects system of Bondcoat, Flek and then either Satin or Heavy DutyGlaze.

A:

We would recommend overcoating MDF with either Crown Trade Acrylic Primer Undercoat or Acrylic BS 5270 Primer followed by Undercoat and gloss.

A:

Thoroughly wash down with Sugarsoap and ensure no surface is contaminated.  Once throughly dried you can paint the pipes with Solvent Based Undercoat and then Gloss.

A:

Thoroughly wash down with sugarsoap and abrade.  Use Crown Trade Alkali Resist Primer which you would dilute with 10% Clear White Spirit and do one coat of this diluted primer.

Once thoroughly dried you can use a solvent based undercoat and gloss or an eggshell.

A:

If the cracks are small, use a  fine surface preparatory filler.  If there are larger cracks and holes, these should be raked out to remove any loose material.  Fill with a suitable interior filler, leaving it slightly proud of the surface.

 

When thoroughly dry, sand smooth with sandpaper.

A:

Water stains need to be sealed back to stop them bleeding through the paint surface.  Ensure that the source of the damp has been cured, and that the area is completely dry before priming with a suitable damp seal product.
