CELEBRATING APPRENTICE DECORATORS FOR 40 YEARS: A YEARBOOK
If you follow us on Facebook and Twitter, you’ll have seen that our search for the 2019 Apprentice Decorator of the Year has come to a close, with Inverness-based apprentice Gatis Celmins taking the title in November.
You may have also seen that this year marked 40 years of us sponsoring the Apprentice Decorator of the Year competition, and we celebrated by creating an anniversary yearbook. The yearbook takes a look at the past, present and future of the competition, showing how the competition has evolved since we began our sponsorship in 1979.
The 40th anniversary yearbook features past winners and the chance to get to know the 2019 competitors, as well as drawing on the knowledge of industry experts who discuss the importance of supporting apprentices and why they remain such a key part of the industry.
We also did a call-out on social media for those who have been involved in the competition over the years to send in some photos, and we’re delighted to say we’ve included some fantastic throwback shots in the yearbook!
We’re proud to have been sponsoring the Apprentice Decorator of the Year competition for 40 years and counting, and can’t wait to see how it develops in the coming years. You can find the yearbook here.
