Crown Trade TV sponsorship competition hits Clean Extreme heights
The winners of an exciting Crown Trade promotion to celebrate the brand’s TV debut could soon be scaling extreme new heights.
Three lucky winners have scooped the top prizes of a £1,000 Extreme Experience voucher in a competition which marked Crown Paints’ year-long sponsorship package with Sky Sports News HQ on the station’s popular 10pm bulletin.
The inspiration for the competition came from Crown Trade’s high performance Clean Extreme scrubbable emulsions, which offer super scrubbable and stain resistant finishes without compromising on aesthetics.
Winners of the competition were: Eunan McCosker of McCosker Integrated Property Solutions in Manchester; Diana Celella of The Drawing Room Interiors of Tanworth in Arden and keen DIY enthusiast Stuart Elding of Boston, Lincolnshire.
McCosker Integrated Property Services is one of the North West’s leading specialists in repairs and maintenance, building works, painting and decorating and joinery manufacture. Owner, Eunan McCosker, who received his prize from Crown Paints Business Development Manager Alan Cash, has decided to donate his voucher to a cancer charity, for use as an auction or fund-raising prize.
Meanwhile, Diana Celella’s Drawing Room Interiors is a West Midlands-based commercial and residential interior design service. Diana has headed up the specialist team since 1989 and is also Chairman of Regions for The Society of British and International Designers (SBID). She received her prize from Crown Paints Specification Manager John Harmer. She plans to use part of her voucher for a VIP personal shopping day at House of Fraser and consider what extreme experience to undertake with the rest of her prize.
Finally, graphic designer and home improvement enthusiast Stuart Elding received his prize from local Crown Decorating Centre manager Claire Kelly at Boston, Lincs. Having gone into his local CDC to pick up Crown Trade Clean Extreme for a kitchen renovation he entered the competition, and now plans to use his Extreme Experience voucher to fulfil a long-held ambition of taking a hot air balloon ride.
Nikki Cosgrove, Trade Brand Manager at Crown Paints, said: “This is the first time Crown Trade has taken a starring role on TV and it is proving very successful. We are delighted to be able to share this success with the prize winners.”
The Sky Sports HQ sponsorship will see Crown Paints on the TV every day throughout 2015 and represents a significant investment in their Trade brands.
It uses special ‘idents’ featuring fictitious painters and decorators mimicking visual cues common to most Sky Sports broadcasting.
The package also includes banner advertising on SkySports.com, the most visited commercial sports destination on the web, and the Sky Sports mobile service.
